The TL Portraitz team had the honor of being a part of Debra and Sangbeom's very special day, where they celebrated their love with their family and friends. Jackie was the makeup artist, Chai was the videographer, and I (Tan) was the photographer. Their wedding was exquisite and fun, with lots of laughter and giggles. Although it was a cold February day, the whole wedding party braved the cold just to be there for the newlyweds, and also for the chilly outdoor film and photo shoot.
On the morning of their wedding, Jackie, the makeup artist, started at 5am doing makeup and hair for the bride and bridesmaids. The bride's makeup was a soft neutral brown with a hint of light pink, and fine glitter was added to her eyelids to make her sparkle like a diamond. She was transformed into a very beautiful bride! A low romantic updo hairstyle was perfect for Debra, and she wore it all day. Different hair accessories were taken in turns to be put into her hair to match with her two dresses, one traditional Chinese dress, and the other a Western mermaid wedding dress. After everyone, including the bride, was ready, they started the tea ceremony with an indoor game for the groom and groomsmen before he could claim his bride hidden behind her bedroom door. After Sangbeom claimed his bride, the rest of the wedding day story will be told through our photos!
Prior to their wedding, we took some pre-wedding photos for Debra and Sangbeom from last fall. Chai and Jackie also took part in this photoshoot. Jackie provided Debra a hair and makeup trial and made sure Debra was well taken care of through the shoot with touch-ups. Chai filmed the couple and created a pre-wedding "save the date" video for them. Before I show you their wedding day photos, I would love to share some of their pre-wedding photos with you.
